So, here’s how it will work

Once we have 1,000 applicants, Angel Flight will then take the applications and
manufacturing fees to the state and they will start production of the commemorative
license plates.

At the time of initial application during the Angel Flight application period:

Complete the application and submit a $26 Manufacturing & Processing Fee (one time) to Angel Flight. If we are not able to recruit 1000 applicants, we will refund your manufacturing fee.

When your tag is ready:

Your local tag office will contact you to pick up your AF Plate. There is a $25 Special tag fee that will be due initially and at the time of renewal annually.

Initial tag issuance must happen at your county tag office. In the following years, you can renew at the State website (https://mvd.dor.ga.gov/tags). Unfortunately, vanity tags are not available with the Angel Flight logo. If you currently have a vanity tag, it would be replaced by your new Angel Flight commemorative tag.
